In 2010 Lakes Region ThermalScan managed 119 energy retrofits under New Hampshire's Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program. By a great margin we conducted more weatherizations under this program than any other company in the State, and the only company to conduct more then 100. This accomplishment was from the combined team efforts of Lakes Region ThermalScan's professional energy auditors working with three BPI certified weatherization contractors. Under this team effort our clients received the best combination of the services of a professional energy auditor and a BPI weatherization contractor. Our auditors conducted the audit, specified the work and conducted post work inspections of our contractors work. Only under Lakes Region ThermalScan will you have an independent professional energy auditor conduct your audit and represent you in this process. Though we oversee the BPI contractors and ensure compliance with the stringent work standards written by us, we remain financially independent from them so we can better represent you and to ensure our auditors can conduct the best assessments and inspections possible.
Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Partner
Lake Region ThermalScan is a proud partner of Home Performance with Energy Star offered by you local utility. This is a "fuel neutral" program which can provide up to $4,000.00 towards a basic energy audit and energy retrofit work for qualified homes. There is a 50% client co-pay for most measures provided under this program. Our services are no cost to you and paid for by the program.
As your representative under this program, we will conduct the basic energy audit, specify the work to be accomplished in accordance with program guidelines, coordinate work approval with your utility, assign an approved contractor to the job. Lakes Region ThermalScan with be your contract coordinator providing overall project management. We will ensure the appropriate work is accomplished by the relevant contractors and we will conduct additional quality assurance inspections.
If you choose Lakes Region ThermalScan as your representative for this program, you will also receive significant discounts towards additional services that we offer or if you wish to upgrade the audit portion to a higher level audit associated with our Level I, II, and III audits.The basic energy audit provided by this program does not provide the infrared imaging or the software modeling as does our higher level audits.
This program is easy to apply and has a fairly low threshold for qualification.Best of all you can have Lakes Region ThermalScan as your representative with discounted access to our higher level diagnostic testing, inspections, and thermal imaging.
